Here is a recap of our busy week- June 7-14.
Sunday- We took Eric to the airport so that he can fly to Boulder, CO for the National Organic Symposium. After we got everything packed up we headed to mom's for a sleepover.
Monday-We headed west to Huron to visit Dennis. We stopped at the Sod House and Walnut Grove along the way. I also had to stop and take some pictures- hopefully they will help pay for the trip. The girls enjoyed the baby chicks, kitties and bunnies at their uncle and auntie's house.
Tuesday- It rained most of the day but the cousins were able to play, play, play.
Wednesday- The kids played together outside in the chilly cool weather before we loaded back into the van for the return trip. We made two visits along the way to friends and family. At each place there were plenty of kids for ours to play with. We got home around 10:30 p.m.
Thursday- Laundry, laundry, laundry. Rylee also had her Kindergarten screening and I had to pick up work from an art show. Other than that we tried to avoid the van.
Friday-Repacking, and the best part, picking up Daddy/Eric from the airport. Eric enjoyed tackle hugs and Rylee even cried tears of joy. His flight got in at 8:00, so it was another late night. (The kids haven't fallen asleep before 10 p.m. all week.)
Saturday-Thankfully because of their lack of sleep the kids slept in. Bridger even fell back to sleep shortly after eating at 7. So, when we got up at 9:45 we got ready for our next adventure, Grandma and Grandpa's house. The Woller cousins have played very nicely and we have been having fun helping celebrate Grandma  and Grandpa's 40th Anniversary. We will be here until Monday. It has been a really busy week with little sleep, and over 800 miles in the van, but the kids would agree it has been worth it.
